About Me
Rebecca S. Martinez, PhD, HSPP
Many of my clients are insightful, capable individuals who’ve spent years wondering if they might be autistic. Others seek clarity after confusing or invalidating diagnostic experiences. Whatever your story, I approach each evaluation with one goal: to help you feel seen, respected, and understood.
In addition to my clinical work, I’m a tenured faculty member at Indiana University in Bloomington. I teach graduate courses in assessment, counseling, and intervention, and supervise master’s and doctoral students, preparing the next generation of clinicians to practice with accuracy, empathy, and a neuroaffirming lens.
- A comprehensive clinical interview
- Standardized assessment tools
- A personalized feedback session
- A detailed written report with findings and recommendations
The process is conducted online and typically takes 3–5 weeks from start to finish.
I combine evidence-based practices with deep respect for lived experience, ensuring that every evaluation reflects your strengths, context, and identity. Whether you’re seeking personal insight, documentation for accommodations, or simply the validation of being seen for who you are, my evaluations are designed to offer clarity and meaningful understanding.
